Koniag Professional Services (KPS)currently has an opening for an Acquisition Project Management Analyst for the Department of Defense Office of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer’s (CDAO) Acquisition Office.

The Acquisition Project Management Analyst will support Government senior leaders and Program Managers by facilitating program management reviews and generating insightful reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our acquisition initiatives by ensuring effective communication, reporting, and coordination within the program management framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists Government Program Managers and senior leaders in planning, organizing, and executing program management reviews (PMRs) for acquisition initiatives.

  • Generates and compiles detailed reports, providing comprehensive insights into program performance, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation related to program management, ensuring accessibility and transparency for stakeholders.

  • Facilitates communication and coordination among cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives.

  • Collects and organizes relevant data for program reviews, working closely with project teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information.

  • Assists in tracking and documenting program risks and issues, contributing to the development of mitigation strategies.

  • Supports the development and maintenance of program schedules, ensuring alignment with overall acquisition timelines.

  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, providing support and information as needed during program reviews and reporting activities.

  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement within the program management framework, proposing enhancements to streamline operations.

  • Prepares documentation review for various documents, including acquisition, other program documents, technical papers, and correspondence. Ensure documents are prepared in the appropriate format and are free from grammatical errors.

  • Assists other team members in other tasks and initiatives as needed to accomplish the overall mission.

Requirements:

  • To be considered, must have a Current/Active DoD SECRET

  • 10+ years of experience

  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and the DoD-specific acquisition policies and processes

  • Extensive experience planning, organizing, and executing program management reviews (PMRs) for acquisition initiatives.

  • Experience generating and compiling detailed reports, providing comprehensive insights into program performance, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities

  • Ability to uphold a strict level of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Ability to take a conceptual discussion and build a presentation to convey the message.

  • Highly motivated professional and capable of managing demanding workload while prioritizing and managing competing priorities.

  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage.

  • Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills; proficient MS Teams, Excel and Outlook application skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or field

  • Familiarity with the PPBE process highly desired

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
