Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Program Manager- III to support Kadiak and our government customer. This is a remote opportunity.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Overall project ownership and management of key projects, focusing on both short-term initiatives and long-term strategic direction and objectives for the programs.

  • Management of cross-functional projects and initiatives

  • Proactive and solutions-oriented management of program operations and integration issues, requiring the ability conceptualize and envision the impact of change, and propose new ways to do business to better meet the needs of the client/partner.

  • Appling project management skills to ensure transparency, reporting, and successful projects.

  • Maintain relationships both within KGS and with client leadership.

  • Utilize project management expertise to ensure that workflows, processes, risks, communications, resources, and quality are managed appropriately to support the program and projects.

  • The Project Manager III will determine program needs and will direct project management as needed.

  • Project Manager III will identify risks, concerns, or issues and escalate to management as appropriate.

  • The individual will exercise judgment to make decisions and ensure programs/project is effectively progressing

  • Lead regular cross functional informational or working meetings, including effective agenda planning, facilitation, and tracking/follow up on deliverables until closed.

  • Meetings include, but not limited to, Business Stakeholders and Operations Working team.

Required:

  • PMP

  • Minimum 10 years large project management experience.

  • Personnel management experience of greater than 10 personnel.

  • Extensive knowledge with IMS, Risk Management, Change Control Management and Document/Knowledge Management.

  • Trusted Agent

Preferred:

  • IT design, build and deployment experience

  • Electronic Health Record design, build and deployment experience

  • Graduate-level education preparation

  • SAFEe 6 Agilist Certification

  • Certified ScrumMaster

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3.1

Working Environment & Conditions

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
